A WOMAN has revealed how she completely changed the colour of her bed from a dull grey to chic green with £7 dye. 

The savvy woman said she used the Rit Dye in shade dark green to achieve the look – and numerous people have praised her new bed for looking “gorgeous”.

A woman has revealed how she changed the colour of her bed to be a stylish dark green[/caption]

Taking to the Facebook group Mrs Hinch Made Me Do It, she shared how she was inspired to change the colour as a DIY project.

She wrote: “Some clever lady on here inspired me to dye my bed! Thought I’d share the results with you all!”

At first she used a Dylon Dye in shade Forest Green, but wasn’t too impressed with the colour, so tried the Rit Dye product instead. 

She explained: “I simply sponged the diluted dye over the damp bed, left to dry and then dampened again to wipe off all the excess dye.

“It took some time and effort but i think it was worth it.”

The finished result showed her stylish new bed looking as good as new and looking like it could feature on Pinterest. 

Many people were quick to praise her, with one saying: “What a clever thing to do I need you at my house!”
