With Sunday set to be UK’s warmest day in six months, police forces around the country have issued fresh warnings to people not to travel and to stay at home.

Going on holiday is not an excuse to travel and second homeowners are being told to keep away, as police said they will issue fines and punishments if they see people making non-essential journeys this weekend.
