Meanwhile Ivanka, 37, Don Jr, 41, Eric, 35, and Tiffany, 25, will hope to make the most of their time at the plush hotel,  where famous guests include Beyoncé and Jay-Z, George Clooney, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, and Kanye West.

They’re said to be taking part in the State Banquet – but if they can’t they’d do worse than dine at any of the fancy restaurants within the plush complex.

The royal-suite penthouse costs £22,000 a night and boasts four bedrooms, a dining room for ten, a full-sized bar with champagne and a bathroom replete with marble surfaces.

It’s not yet know whether the Trumps will stay in that suite, but it would be ideally kitted out for the famous family since it boasts its very own private internal lift.

Trump, 72, and the First Lady, 49, have a packed schedule ahead of them amid the threat of protests across the capital.

Over the three days Trump will meet with outgoing PM Theresa May, enjoy a state banquet dinner at Buckingham Palace and join commemorations of the 75th anniversary D-Day landings.

Trump has said he won’t be “intimidated” during his visit, US ambassador Woody Johnson has said, after The President’s visit last year was overshadowed by mass demonstrations.

The visit comes after Sadiq Khan blasted Trump’s language to that of a “20th century fascist” and branded to decision to roll out the red carpet for him as “un-British”.
