Ryan Sessegnon is eyeing a move to Tottenham Hotspur despite interest from Manchester United ahead of the summer transfer window, according to a report in England.
The Evening Standard is reporting that the England international is attracting interest from the two Premier League clubs following Fulham’s relegation to the Championship.
The same article states that Serie A giants Juventus and Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the 18-year-old ahead of the 2019-20 season.
According to the same story, Fulham are looking to secure a £40m transfer fee for the teenager but Tottenham aren’t willing to meet the west London side’s asking price.
The Evening Standard report goes on to reveal that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is prepared to make an offer in the region of £25m for the English defender.
Sessegnon got his first taste of Premier League football this season after having spent the 2016-17 and 2017-18 campaigns in the Championship.
The promising English starlet scored two goals and made six assists in 35 games in the Premier League this term.
Tottenham have a history of developing promising English talents over the past four or five seasons.
Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Eric Dier and Harry Winks have gone on to blossom into seasoned England internationals under Mauricio Pochettino.
