Richarlison has admitted that he is flattered by reports linking him with a summer transfer to Manchester United or FC Barcelona – but insists that he is happy at Everton.
The 22-year-old Brazilian has been earning plenty of praise for his performances in the Premier League and he scored 13 goals and made one assist in 35 top flight games for the Toffees this season.
According to the Daily Mirror, Richarlison has been attracting interest from both FC Barcelona and Manchester United this summer, and Everton have indicated that they would want a transfer fee of at least £100m for the attacker.
However, the player himself has now moved to play down talk of a move away from Goodison Park and insists that he is perfectly happy at the Toffees.
Speaking in an interview with FourFourTwo, as quoted by the Daily Mirror, Richarlison said: “It’s a nice feeling when you get praise for your good work.
“But I’m not thinking about a transfer at the moment.
“I’ve just arrived at Everton. I’m happy here.”
Manchester United are thought to be on the lookout for a host of new signings this summer as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.
The Red Devils finished in sixth place in the Premier League table and without a trophy under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this term.
They brought in Solskjaer as their new manager following the sacking of Jose Mourinho back in December.
