OAP, 78, admits killing great-grandson, 6, who died after he was shot with a pellet gun

AN OAP has today pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of his six-year-old great-grandson who died after he was shot with a pellet gun.

Albert Grannon, 78, fatally shot Stanley Metcalf at a Sproatley home in East Yorkshire in July last year.

He today appeared at Hull Magistrates’ Court.
