TOTTENHAM fans aren’t the only ones frustrated that their team aren’t in the new stadium, as Mauricio Pochettino shared both his and Daniel Levy’s frustrations.
The Tottenham boss assured fans that if the builders needed help getting the job done quicker he would offer his services, as the top dogs are losing sleep over the situation
Discussing the delay in Tottenham’s home improvements, it was revealed that Pochettino said: “I am the first that would like to finish the stadium.
“I promise you, if I need to go to work and help the builders after training, I promise I go!
“I need to tell the fans ‘sorry’ and that we are doing all we can to try to finish.”
Tottenham were due to host Liverpool at their new stadium earlier this month, but building work is still way behind the deadline, despite the club paying over the odds to pay its workforce on the stadium.
Speaking of the urgency in getting it done, Poch spoke of the hierarchy losing sleep over the crisis.
He added: “The chairman is so committed. I promise you he didn’t sleep trying to find a solution.
“Our fans need to understand it is a venue for life.
“Maybe one or two months means a lot, but in the end it’s no time, because most important is to finish and be safe when we move there.”

Poch also touched on Milton Keynes, praising the hosts and the town, ahead of Tottenham’s clash with Watford at Stadium MK tomorrow.
He said: “I’m sure we are going to be welcome. My respect to the cows… The concrete cows.
“For me it’s a fantastic city, I have a few friends that live there. It is only 45 mins away.
“A great town. Beautiful. I enjoy a lot.”
