MANCHESTER CITY welcome Newcastle to the Etihad for a 5:30pm kick-off on Saturday evening as they look to return to winning ways.
Both sides dropped points last weekend with City drawing with Wolves and the Magpies beaten at home by Chelsea.
Although Pep Guardiola’s side remain unbeaten and are just two points off the top, Rafa Benitez is yet to see his side win this season and faces another tricky game.
Sergio Aguero has an incredible record against Newcastle, finding the net 14 times in just 11 Premier League encounters.
The most memorable of these was in October 2015, when Aguero scored five goals in just 20 minutes in a 6-1 win.
Last time out, it was just the three for the Argentine in a 3-1 win for the champions.
With reports of a training ground bust-up between Jamaal Lascelles and Matt Ritchie, Newcastle’s team spirit could be their weakest link.
Not what you want when you are preparing to face a team who have lost just three of their last 49 Premier League matches.
The stat that matters
Since Michael Owen scored the only goal between these sides in September 2005, Newcastle have lost 19 and drawn two against City in the league.
In those 21 games, the Magpies have conceded 54 and scored just 11, three fewer than Aguero alone in his 11 matches.
What the bosses said
Guardiola and Benitez will speak to the media later in the week ahead of Saturday evening’s clash.

Good luck predicting what Guardiola will do with his team this week, after switching up the defence in the three Premier League games so far.
Benitez made seven changes for the midweek defeat to Nottingham Forest so is expected to return to a side similar to the one that lost 2-1 to Chelsea.
Manchester City: Ederson, Kompany, Stones, Laporte, Bernado Silva, Fernandinho, Mendy, David Silva, Gundogan, Aguero, Jesus
Newcastle: Dubravka, Yedlin, Schar, Fernandez, Clark, Dummett, Ritchie, Diame, Ki, Kenedy, Rondon
This should be a routine victory for Guardiola, especially if Aguero can find his usual form against his favourite opponents.
So, SunSport predicts Manchester City will beat Newcastle 4-0 on Saturday evening.
