THESE cute creatures are all rolling in it – yes, we do mean money… nothing nasty.

Some inherited their fortune, others struck it rich as film stars or social media sensations.

Now, hot on the hooves of Forbes’ Rich List comes a version for animals.

This week price-comparison website Compare The Market unveiled its first ever Pet Rich List.

AMY JONES looks at the fat cats and well-heeled dogs

Gunther IV — £294m

Top dog Gunther leads the rich list. His dad, Gunther III, was far from a paw-per, inheriting £43million from countess Karlotta Liebenstein in 1992.

It all came to Gunther, whose assets have grown.

He has a maid and butler and forget dog’s dinners, he has steak and caviar to eat.

Grumpy Cat — £78m

A whisker away from the top spot, Grumpy Cat is the second richest on the list.

With so much in the kitty it’s a wonder the six-year-old mixed breed, who has 2.4million Instagram followers, still looks glum.

Olivia Benson — £76m

This cute kitty has fur-iends in high places – her owner is pop star Taylor Swift.

The four-year-old Scottish fold cat is often on Taylor’s Instagram account and has clawed in lots of cash from appearing in ads for Diet Coke and Keds shoes.

Gigoo — £12m

With her gigantic nest egg, Gigoo rules the roost as the richest bird on the list.

The rare Scots dumpy hen inherited the sum when her owner – British publishing mogul Miles Blackwell – died aged 56 in 2002.

Bart II — £4.7m

Alaskan brown bear Bart, 18, is a roarsome talent in Hollywood.

He has starred in Game Of Thrones and the films Evan Almighty and Into The Wild.

One director called him “the John Wayne of bears”.

With all this money honey, Bart, seen with owner Doug Seus, has nothing to grizzle about.

Bubbles — £1.6m

A chimp with £1.6million in the bank sounds bananas, but Bubbles was owned by pop superstar Michael Jackson and lived in style at Neverland.
