A FEMALE prison guard who quit her job has been pictured on holiday with a lag who was recently freed from the jail where she worked.

Kristi Davidson, 24, gave up working at the prison around the same time convict Jamie Bunting, 31, was released.

A source revealed the pair were spotted by another guard in Turkey just weeks after Bunting was let out of privately-run Addiewell jail in West Lothian.

The pair openly shared pictures of themselves enjoying the sunny escape online.

The insider said: “The fact they are clearly an item and got together so quickly after they both left the jail makes it look like something may have gone on while she was working.

“She left the job within a day or so of him being released and then they were spotted on holiday.

“She even had a picture of them kissing on her WhatsApp profile. How stupid can she be?

“It seems she thinks it’s funny and has escaped any probe. Some folk at the prison have stopped speaking to her.

“The last thing any guard needs is a pal who is with an ex-inmate.”

Heavily tattooed Bunting’s posted pics showing the pair cuddling by the pool on his Instagram account.

Alongside the caption, he wrote : “Best two weeks of my life ever.”

Davidson replied to the message saying: “Love you.”

This was the latest in a string of scandals to hit the prison.

An untrained manager had to secure inmates because of staff shortages only last week.

HMP Addiewell said they “do not comment on individuals”.

Davidson failed to respond to requests for comment.
