DAVID Walliams took another cheeky swipe at Ant and Dec as he mocked their move from Newcastle to London yesterday.

When the Geordie duo gushed about their hometown on Twitter, David was quick to point out that they have turned their backs on their humble roots and now live posh lives in London’s affluent Chiswick.

Marking the anniversary of Newcastle’s landmark bridge, Dec wrote: “Happy 90th Birthday to the iconic Tyne Bridge! The sight you know you’re home. D

Quick to embarrass him, David fired back: “I am pretty sure you both live in Chiswick .”

The savage response went down a storm with fans, with comedian Jason Manford even responding with a string of laughing emojis.

Both Ant and Dec have snapped up multi-million pound London homes since finding fame – and are each worth an estimated £62million.

And earlier this week the pair were quick to remind David that his hosting efforts haven’t been half as successful.

The Geordie stars took lighthearted revenge at the comic’s failed presenting career after he teased them with a hilarious throwback.

Sharing a photo of David’s promotional photo for short-lived entertainment chat show, The Nightly Show, the pair tweeted: “Hilarious David. You should be on TV every night doing stuff like that….. oh hang on…”

The Nightly Show ran five nights a week and had a different celebrity presenting each week, with David hosting the first week.

The programme was axed after just one series due to low viewing figures.

It is not clear whether it was Ant McPartlin or Declan Donnelly who made the remark as neither of their initials were left at the end of the tweet in their usual style.

On Saturday, David, 47, posted a photo of Ant and Dec that was taken in 1996.

Ant has his hair spiked up and is dressed in a pink shirt with a matching tie.

Meanwhile, Dec is rocking a flowery shirt and ’90s curtains.David captioned the photo: “Style has always been very important to @antanddec.”
