CHILLING footage shows the moment a teenage driver apparently powered through a red light, killing a cyclist and leaving a pedestrian seriously injured.
Dashcam video shows the grey sedan zooming through an intersection in New York, T-boning a blue Honda crossing east on Sunday afternoon.
The smash sends the SUV flying into a cyclist approaching the crossing.
Cops said the car was forced up on the pavement where it slammed into a pedestrian, as well as the cyclist.
The fatal victim has been named as 52-year-old Jose Alzorriz, the 19th cyclist to die in New York so far this year.
Witness Davis Leder, 37, said he “heard the bang” as he was coming out of synagogue and watched as a group of people attempted to free the cyclist, who was pinned down under the SUV.
“The bike was pressed against the guy, five people in the back trying to [move the car],” he said.
Cops said the 18-year-old driver of the sedan, whose name has not been released, was taken into custody. Charges against him are pending.
