NEWLY engaged Craig Revel Horwood has admitted he’s not ready for children with fiance Jonathan Myring – and would NEVER use a surrogate.
The 55-year-old Strictly Come Dancing judge confirmed his engagement to Jonathan, 35, last month after two years together.
While the couple are excited to tie the knot, Craig insists he is in no rush to expand their family.
Speaking to the MailOnline, he explained: “I’ve got no problem with adopting, but I wouldn’t go down the surrogate route, but, at the moment our lifestyles wouldn’t suit a child.
“We’re away so much the poor child would be stuck, like a dog would be, with a nanny. A lot of celebs do that, but I wouldn’t.”
Craig is busy working on various theatre shows as well as his judging commitments to Strictly and the Australian version, Dancing with the Stars.
Meanwhile Jonathan began working for the Liberal Democrats at the last election, which keeps him just as busy.
He said: “It would take some major adjustments in the way we work.
“I love children and would do it happily, but it’s not the end of the world for me if it doesn’t happen. I’m happy with our lives now.”
The couple became engaged in March during a romantic trip to Tasmania.

Craig previously recounted how Jonathan stripped off in a salt bath and dropped to one knee to pop the question as the pair were enjoying champagne.
He told OK! Magazine: “I said, ‘Absolutely not!’ [laughs]. And then I said, ‘Oh, alright then, I’ve changed my mind.’
“I thought it was really sweet, actually, because Jonathan just said, ‘I want to spend the rest of my life with you.’ It was absolutely perfect.
“I would much rather be in a bubble bath with champagne than climbing up a mountain to a waterfall anyway.”
