MEGHAN Markle will attend Trooping the Colour this weekend in her first public appearance since the birth of Archie, according to reports.
But the Duchess of Sussex will not be accompanied by her newborn son for the Queen’s official birthday celebrations.
CNN says Meghan will join the rest of the royal family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace in her first outing since Archie’s birth on May 6.
She briefly spoke in St George’s Hall at Windsor Castle to show her baby to the world in the days after his birth.
But Meghan has spent the majority of her time since then bonding with Archie in Frogmore Cottage, her home with Prince Harry, away from the public eye.
Since Archie’s birth, Meghan has been absent from several high profile royal events.
She didn’t attend the royal banquet at Buckingham Palace held in honour American President Donald Trump this week.
Days before his arrival, President Trump said he didn’t realise Meghan had been “nasty” about him — but praised the idea of an American princess.
Meghan also missed out on the commemorative events for the 75th anniversary of the Allied D-Day landings on June 6, 1944.
Husband Harry had donned his Blues and Royals ceremonial uniform to pay tribute to Chelsea Pensioners at the Royal Hospital Chelsea on Thursday.
Speaking to the crowd which had six veterans of the D-Day landings in the audience, Harry said: “I can only say that you are a constant reminder of the great debt we owe those who have served this nation.”
