Jurgen Klopp is prepared to give Harry Wilson the chance to prove himself at Liverpool FC rather than immediately selling him, according to reports in the British media.
The Liverpool Echo, as quoted by the Daily Star, is reporting that Klopp is prepared to give the Wales international the chance to shine at Anfield.
Wilson impressed during his loan spell at Derby County last season and according to the same story, the 22-year-old has been attracting interest from “several” Premier League sides.
He scored an impressive 16 goals and made four assists in 43 Championship games for Derby last season as Frank Lampard’s men just missed out on promotion to the Premier League.
The same story says that Wilson is set to be involved in Liverpool FC’s pre-season preparations as they gear up for the new campaign.
According to the same report, Klopp wants to take a close look at Wilson for himself before allowing the attacking midfielder to leave Anfield.
It is also claimed in the same story that the Reds have already received several “serious” enquiries about Wilson this summer.
Liverpool FC will be looking to challenge for the Premier League title again next season after they finished second and a point behind the champions this term.
