GUCCI is charging £675 for a bag that looks just like a rubble tub.
The fashion house promises the yellow “logo-embossed tote bag” will take your look from “the laundromat to the streets”.
But Twitter users have poked fun at the rubber item, comparing it to garden trugs and tubs you can get from high street shops.
Shopper Matthew Moore said: “It looks more like a holdall for carrying around rubble. It would go down a storm on a building site.”
One social media user found a near-identical version for £4 from B&M. Another said: “£675 to look like you’re taking in the washing.” And one likened the design to a “plasterer’s bucket”.
The men’s bag comes from the label’s spring collection.
Italian fashion house Gucci has sparked disbelief from shoppers for its pricey goods.
They include a designer bib for £288. The baby spill-stopper comes in a koala design and is being sold at a price most parents would find difficult to swallow.

But two branded Gucci bibs are a snip at £226. Also up for grabs in the online shop is a Stella McCartney seven-bib set for £92.
The fashion retailer’s baby range also includes designer dummies for £35. Tesco sells two online for a far more reasonable £2.50.
Sippy cups cost £32 — three quid less than the dummies but still £30 more than high street versions. Fashionistas can also pay a whopping £2,060 for a Gucci men’s jacket with the sleeves torn off.
