THE day after Juventus were caught catnapping by his old club Manchester United, a £2,600 bald sphynx moggie has been unveiled in the Cristiano Ronaldo household.
Ronaldo’s girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez posted the pet pic on her Instagram account, along with loving family photos.
The couple’s baby daughter, Alana Martin, will celebrate her first brithday on November 12.
And also in shot were Ronaldo’s twins, Eva and Matteo, born by a surrogate mother in June 2017.
With such a busy household, the celebrity parents might have pondered whether to add a pet to their lives. Tabby or not tabby?
In the end they opted for a breed that some might think looks more creepy than cute.
In fact, though, sphynx cats are lauded as energetic and demanding of human attention.
A lot like Ronaldo himself, then?
But the 33-year-old’s claws came out after United overturned his sublime volleyed opener to win 2-1 with a double in the last four minutes on Wednesday night.
He told Sky Italia: “We dominated the game for 90 minutes, had so many chances, could’ve killed it off three or four times, but we relaxed and were punished.
“Manchester United did nothing to win the game. You can’t even talk about luck, because you have to find your own luck and in this case we just gifted it to them.”
So defeat was no cat-astrophe.
