Chelsea FC will look to sign Franck Kessie from AC Milan if the Italian club want to land Tiemoue Bakayoko on a permanent transfer, according to reports.
The Daily Star is reporting that the west London club could look to try and land the 22-year-old as part of a permanent deal for Bakayoko to move to AC Milan.
Bakayoko is currently on a season-long loan deal at AC Milan after failing to impress during his first season at Stamford Bridge following his transfer from Monaco.
According to the same story, Bakayoko’s loan deal at AC Milan is due to expire at the end of the season but the Italian side do have the option to buy him on a permanent deal.
However, the same report says that Chelsea FC will demand that Kessie is added to any permanent deal for Bakayoko.
Central midfielder Kessie has been in good form for AC Milan this season and he has scored three goals and made one assist in 21 Serie A games for the Italian club.
The Ivorian is currently on a two-year loan deal from Atlanta but AC Milan are obliged to buy the midfielder this summer.
And according to the same story, Chelsea FC are now requesting that he is immediately resold to them if any deal for Bakayoko is to be agreed.
