Charlie Nicholas states his prediction for Leicester v Arsenal

Charlie Nicholas has warned that Leicester City could blow Arsenal away at The Emirates on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners have squandered a lead in their last four games in competitions, including stalemates with Crystal Palace and Watford in the Premier League.

Unai Emery’s side are in fifth position and six points adrift of Leicester, who currently occupy third spot in the Premier League table.

The north London outfit have only managed to win two of their last six Premier League games so far.

Leicester are in a rich vein of form following a 9-0 victory at Southampton before a 2-0 win at Crystal Palace.

The Foxes have only lost to Liverpool FC and Manchester United in the Premier League this season.

Brendan Rodgers’ side are only two points adrift of defending champions Manchester City.

Former Arsenal midfielder Nicholas is worried that Leicester are capable of thrashing the Gunners at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

“It’s seriously worrying,” Nicholas told Sky Sports News. “They’ve got Leicester on Saturday evening and at the moment it looks like they could blow them away.

“Arsenal fans have travelled and watched another basic performance. I like the manager a lot but I said the same with Arsene Wenger: things have to change. He [Emery] has to be stronger and sort these problems out.

“Arsenal have lost the urgency to go and win football matches. The defensive frailties have been there for 18 months, if not longer, and things need to get sorted now. Arsenal fans are starting to get pretty fed up.”

Arsenal have failed to finish in the Premier League’s top four in the last three seasons.

Leicester won the Premier League title in the 2015-16 season but Arsenal haven’t got their hands on the top-flight crown since 2004.

The Gunners signed six new players in the summer transfer window to overhaul Emery’s squad.
