BARCELONA have won the race to sign 16-year-old English whizz-kid Louie Barry from West Brom after he snubbed PSG.
The Baggies offered the youngster a professional deal but the highly sought after striker turned them down – as well as the French champions – to join the Catalan giants.
PSG were keen on signing the youngster but Barry opted for Barcelona where icons such as Lionel Messi, Xavi and Andres Iniesta honed their skills.
After confirming the move, the Camp Nou club tweeted to announce the news and congratulate the youngster.
The post read: “Louie Barry joins Barca.
“The 16-year-old English striker comes from West Bromwich Albion and will play in the A Youth Team.”
Barry joined West Brom at the age of six and had been expected to make it all the way to the first team.

But after shining for the Baggies and England at youth level, European scouts everywhere began to sit up and take notice.
Barry notched ten goals in five games for England during a tournament in Italy last year.
Despite the massive potential shown by the youngster, West Brom will receive a paltry fee of around £235,000 for the forward.
