Danny Welbeck silences critics as Arsenal secure 11th straight win

DANNY WELBECK silenced his critics as he rocketed Arsenal to their 11th straight win in all competitions.

The striker, 27, proved himself alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after Alexandre Lacazette was dropped to the bench for the clash against Sporting.

Danny Welbeck found the net in the 77th minute for the Gunners

Unai Emery suggested last month that Welbeck could disrupt the partnership of Aubameyang and Lacaztte if he continues to impress.

And the 27-year-old proved his potential with a remarkable strike in the 77th minute of the Europa League tie.
