DANCING On Ice viewers have claimed Gemma Collins KNEW she was going in last night’s show – with many slamming the ITV skating hit as a “fix”.
Scores of fans remarked that the 38-year-old Towie star seemed entirely unsurprised when it was revealed she would be going home.
Viewers claimed Gemma knew she was going on Dancing On Ice last night[/caption]
One tweeted: “She knew she was going. Probably cos she’s reached the minimum term in her contract n is now fully paid.”
Another insisted: “It’s as if @missgemcollins knew she was going home #DancingonIce.”
A third raged: “Phil told us last week that she would be kicked out tonight, the shows a f***ing fix.”
Others remarked on Gemma’s sudden humility in defeat, saying: “She acted like that because she knew she was on her way out.”

The judges chose to save Ryan Sidebottom and Brandee Malto instead[/caption]
They added: “She plays people for her own gain, and that’s the bit I don’t like.”
Another wrote: “GC getting lower scores that everyone else for being a confident bigger woman on dancing on ice @missgemcollins it’s all a fix.”
It’s far from the first time the show has been bombarded with fan theories that something untoward is going on.
During last week’s Fairytale Week, Phillip Schofield told an emotional Gemma she had “next week” to build herself back up again.
Gemma became the fifth celebrity to be eliminated[/caption]
She had been the show’s biggest star since the first episode[/caption]
That caused many to cry “fix” – with Gemma’s exit from the competition after tonight’s show reigniting the conspiracy theories that something suspicious was going on.
One viewer tweeted: “Funny how last week @Schofe said Gemma ‘had another week left’ and now she gets eliminated. If that’s not a fix I dunno what is #DancingOnIce #itvatitagain #itv #fix.”
Another agreed, writing: “Told you this last week! Absolute fix! #dancingonice.”
Phillip himself has lashed out at rumours anything on the show is contrived, tweeting: “It’s illegal to fix tv shows and I wouldn’t work on one that was.”
Matt joked that he was now able to go on holiday[/caption]
He added: “WE ARE INDEPENDENTLY ADJUDICATED!!! All votes are checked and agreed by an independent company.”
A rep for Dancing On Ice’s also denied the claims, telling The Sun Online: “The show is not fixed.”
