ADELE’S dramatic seven-stone weight loss has been nothing short of jaw-dropping, especially as the singer has remained schtum about how she’s done it.
But we can reveal the star has enlisted the services of bespoke US meal delivery plan Freshology, which drops off three gourmet low-cal offerings to her door in LA.
Adele, who has amassed a healthy £150 million, can easily afford the £120-a-week price[/caption]
The mum-of-one was recommended the easy-to-follow diet by singer pal Katy Perry and has the 1,700- calories-a-day option.
She chooses from a menu of delicious, healthy low-carb boxes, including egg quesadilla and wholegrain pancakes for breakfast, turkey salad and chicken burger for lunch and chicken stir-fry and baked salmon for dinner, as well as a snack.
Key to its success is portion size, we’re told — meaning diners don’t have to forfeit on taste — and its discreet service.
Adele, who has amassed a healthy £150 million, can easily afford the £120-a-week price, alongside regular sessions with a personal trainer.
A well-placed source revealed: “Adele was keen to lose weight and decided to use a meal delivery service after being recommended them by Katy Perry, who was a big fan before she fell pregnant.
“Adele made it clear she doesn’t want to feel deprived and loves wholesome, good food, so she chose the balanced calorie-controlled menu which delivers three meals a day and doesn’t cut out any food groups but sticks to around 1,700 calories.
“Adele’s never been a huge fan of cooking and this plan is the perfect way to maintain her hard work in the gym.”
Earlier this month, Adele’s former personal trainer Pete Geracimo said the driving force behind her body overhaul was to be healthy for her son.
He said: “This metamorphosis is not for album sales, publicity or to be a role model. She is doing it for herself and for Angelo.
“She has not changed from the Adele we grew up with and have loved.
“There is just a little less of her.”
Rihanna wins on points
SHE may have entered the Sunday Times Rich List for the first time, but UK-based Rihanna is classed as a “migrant” by the Government.
The Barbados-born star, who has an estimated £468million fortune, had to set up a UK company with celebrity law firm Reed Smith so she could remain here under the new points-based system.

Reed Smith is on a list of organisations licensed to sponsor a “migrant” with the current rules. And without a sponsor Rihanna – who moved to the UK last year – would have been asked to leave Britain.
But despite RiRi’s wealth from her music, lingerie and cosmetics ventures, her Companies House records show the singer’s luxury brand LVMH – which has had millions pumped into it – made a loss of £173,176 this year.
At least she has a few bob in her back pocket to bail herself out . . .
FORMER Blue Peter presenter KONNIE HUQ wanted to go into acting, but struggled to find roles due to her ethnicity.
Launching the Recycle Your Electricals’ Little Spring Clean campaign she said: “That’s why I got into presenting.”
Rak-su racism agony
RAK-SU believe their British accents would protect them from racist treatment by US police.
The X Factor winners – all from ethnic minorities – were shocked at the death of George Floyd, after he was pinned down by a Minnesota cop.
Singer Myles Stepheson said: “We’ve experienced racism in the past. We were chased as teenagers by men in cars in Watford. They were trying to run us over.
“I’ve also had racism directed at me online.
“I’d like to think when we go to America our English accents would make these police officers question what they do before they act.”
The band, back with new single Palm Tree, haven’t ruled out writing a song about racism.
Ashley Fongho said: “A lot has got to change and we want to do whatever we can to raise awareness.”
Paul to kick the ciggies
FANS have hit social media to slam the amount of smoking featured in BBC3 hit drama Normal People – but its star Paul Mescal has revealed that he is struggling to quit in real life.
The Irish actor, who plays writer Connell, admitted he had been on the fags since he decided to walk away from his Gaelic football career to focus on acting a few years ago.
Paul said: “Cigarettes are my unhealthy habit, I shouldn’t be smoking, but I enjoy doing it.
“When the sport stopped, I realised I could drink and smoke until my heart’s content.”
He added: “I want to try and stop.”
Strictly show chiefs have Covid covered
STRICTLY Come Dancing bosses have had to put their thinking caps on to make the show happen this year amid the coronavirus chaos.
One option the BBC1 programme’s producers are looking at is incorporating larger-than-life face coverings into the performances to avoid any spread of Covid-19.
The costumes would follow a weekly theme so as to inject as much fun and theatre into the dance as possible, without coming across too clinical.
Producers are also dealing with the reality that it is increasingly unlikely that there will be live audiences this year so they are looking at the possibility of filming in gardens, on rooftops and in beautiful ballrooms in a new dramatic move.
A source said: “Production are looking at all possibilities and are warming to the idea of theatrical masks as part of the costumes, having seen the success of The Masked Singer on ITV.
“Location-wise they are considering scenic locations from rooftops, gardens to town squares and historical ballrooms – anywhere which not only looks great, but can work without a studio audience.
“Crew can come in and prepare the scene, light it beautifully, display props and set up cameras and get out of the way for the celebrity couple’s big performance.”
Michelle Ackerley, who made her name hosting The One Show and Watchdog, is being eyed up by bosses to appear on this year’s series.
A source said: “Michelle has a positive, can-do attitude and came across really well on Celebrity MasterChef two years ago. She’s really into health and fitness and would look amazing in the costumes.”
The Manchester-born presenter is happily dating former rugby coach Ben Ryan so hopefully she won’t be tempted by the famous Strictly curse.
STRICTLY judge Motsi Mabuse is launching her own talkshow online, tackling gritty topics. The only problem for her British fans is that it’s in German.
She said: “I have a YouTube talk show coming. It starts next week, it’s about us all working together as women.
“We are still not there and we need to work together. We don’t have to reach the goals alone.
“I have a ladies’ talk show, but it will be in German, unfortunately.”
There’s always Google Translate, I guess . . .
Jungle for Nikki
SHE made it to the final stage of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins earlier this month and now actress Nikki Sanderson looks set for an even bigger reality TV signing.
I’m A Celeb bosses are eyeing up the soap veteran, who has starred in both Coronation Street and Hollyoaks, to be their camp jungle babe this year.
A telly source said: “Producers thought she was funny and likeable. She has a massive fanbase, too, after being on screens for years.”
Kylie’s Kris goodbye?
THEY’RE usually at pains to show the world how well they get on on social media, but we can reveal that Kylie Jenner has fallen out with momager Kris over claims she lied about Kylie’s $1billion worth.
It follows a report by glossy business mag Forbes which argued that Kylie faked her way to becoming its youngest self-made billionaire.

A source said: “Kris – who reportedly gets ten per cent of Kylie’s deals – is in panic mode. Kylie won’t answer the phone to Kris and is at a loss over who to trust. Kris is petrified Kylie could sack her or cut her off so tensions are at an all-time high.”
Forbes says Kylie is worth around $900million but admitted it could not prove she had falsified documents. And last night she hit back at “inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions”.
SHE may have been performing for almost 30 years but MELANIE C still gets stage fright.
The Spice Girl said: “I get nervous doing anything, even if I do a little five-minute interview on a radio station. I’m an absolute nightmare.”
Harry: I’ll marry
Asked Stateside about his views on getting married the former One Direction star said: “I mean I would like to be.
“It is definitely what I would like to do one day. People’s relationships are so different now.
“But I’d like to think I would want that at some point.”
We’re sure that he won’t have to look very hard for a willing wife . . .
