A sheriff gave Together Commercial Finance Limited the green light to seize the 15th century family seat – where Rose grew up – and evict all occupants and their belongings.

A decree for the repossession was granted during a civil hearing at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Thursday.

The company had asked the beak to find Tory councillor Leslie in default for failing to pay up money he owed them.

They’re now free to sell the luxury pad, as well as the adjoining Gardener’s Cottage, which is listed as Leslie and wife Candy’s home.

Sebastian Leslie has also been suspended by the Tory party for a year over £2,500 of unpaid council tax[/caption]

He didn’t show up for the hearing but sent an email to say that he had no objection to the action.

The ruling comes days after he was suspended from the Tories for a year over £2,500 of unpaid council tax.

And last week he lost a civil case and was ordered to hand over £4,714.50 to chartered surveyor John Fraser.

He claimed he was owed the money for carrying out inspections and reports at Leslie’s properties.

A neighbour said: “It’s very sad that Sebastian has got himself in this mess.

“He’s a rogue, but I like him.

“I always hoped he’d get back on his feet financially but things just seem to get worse and worse for him.”

It’s understood the repossession process could take months and Leslie still has a chance to appeal.

Neighbours claimed until recently he still lived in the castle and a neighbouring cottage.

Both were deserted yesterday.

Lickleyhead, near Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, is thought to have been built in 1560.

Former governor of Mexico City Don Guillermo de Landa y Escandon bought the property in 1922 for his daughter Maria Luz, who married into the Arbuthnot-Leslie family.

Leslie and Candy, 62, tried to flog it for £1.3million in 2013 and said it was “surplus to requirements”.

The seven-bedroomed castle was used for weddings and events, as well as hiring it out on Airbnb.

They charged visitors £600 a night, with a service charge on top, but the venue was extremely popular.

It was still on the website last night but there were messages revealing stays had been cancelled by the host days before people were due to arrive.

On the site Candy describes herself as a “professional married woman running a farm in Aberdeenshire.”

Leslie has stayed on as an independent councillor for West Garioch.

The number for him on the council website went straight to answering machine and he didn’t respond to emails.

She tied the knot with telly co-star Kit Harington in a nearby church in June this year.

The reception was held at Wardhill Castle, which is also owned by the family.

Her dad spoke to crowds at the castle gate hours before the ceremony.

“He said: “It’s an absolutely lovely day for us.

“It’s a great day for Aberdeenshire.

We are using local caterers, local lighting, local flowers.”

Yesterday at Wardhill Farm Leslie’s son Will said: “This is a private estate and my dad doesn’t live here. ”

“I’m getting fed up being asked about this.”
