THE HILLS’ cast reunited at the MTV VMAs and revealed the show is set to return – eight years after the final episode.
A trailer for the new series played during the MTV VMAs after some of its original stars posed on the pink carpet of the star-studded bash.
The promo reveals aerial views of Los Angeles as an acoustic version of Natasha Bedingfield’s Unwritten played over the top.Stephanie Pratt says: “It’s like we’re all growing up.”
The Hills’ official Twitter account shared it only and thousands of fans have already reacted to the news.
One excited person said, “I’m in tears I’m so happy right now” as another celebrated, “OMGGGGGG”
A third person raved: “OH MY GOD IM SO HAPPY!!”
However, many people online begged to know if sassy Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari had signed up for the reboot.
Stephanie Pratt, Audrina Patridge, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt confirmed their involvement as they attended the MTV VMAs in New York last night.
Frankie Delgado and Jason Wahler also joined them at the ceremony.
Stephanie, 32, stunned in a floor length red gown that featured a dramatic plunging neckline.
Audrina and Heidi looked incredible in silver mini dresses and Heidi dressed her son Gunner in an adorable red hoodie and shorts.
The Hill marked a new era of reality TV when it came on air in 2006 and broke fans hearts when it ended in 2010.

The show ended with an epic fallout between Lauren and Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.
Lauren, 32, gave birth to her son Liam last year and has founded her own company, The Little Market.
