Tracking FSU football players in the 2017 NFL Draft – Tomahawk Nation

It’s time for another collection of Florida State football players to go get paid, as the 2017 NFL Draft will transpire from Thursday through Saturday. We’ll keep this piece updated throughout, so you can quickly check back in and see who’s gone where, and when.

But here’s what you need to know right now. Eight Seminoles were invited to the NFL Combine in Indianapolis. Alphabetically, they are:

  • RB Dalvin Cook
  • OL Roderick Johnson
  • WR Travis Rudolph
  • FB Freddie Stevenson
  • DE DeMarcus Walker
  • CB Marquez White
  • WR Kermit Whitfield
  • WR Bobo Wilson

Of course, there are more ’Noles with professional aspirations, as the following players also worked out at FSU’s Pro Day this winter:

  • OL Kareem Are
  • TE Kevin Haplea
  • DB Tyler Hunter
  • QB Sean Maguire

The first round of this year’s NFL Draft will take place on Thursday night, the second and third rounds will follow on Friday evening, and the remainder will take place on Saturday.
