Nebraska has hired Adam Clark as its new director of football operations.
He served as the assistant athletic director to football operations at Minnesota for the last three seasons, along with being the director of player personnel from 2011-12. But once the Golden Gophers fired coach Tracy Claeys, Clark decided to leave the school.
He also worked at Northern Illinois for three seasons. In DeKalb, Ill., he was the director of football operations before becoming the assistant athletic director.
According to the Huskers’ football website, Clark joined the program earlier in the spring.
Additionally, it says Clark will “work closely with Head Coach Mike Riley and Associate Athletic Director for Football Administration Dan Van De Riet. Clark will assist in the day-to-day operations of the football program, serve as a liaison with other units in the athletics department, assist with the budget and team travel, summer camps and clinics, along with numerous duties associated with Husker football student-athletes.”
